Late on Tuesday, April 27, the Enfield Police Department was called in to perform a welfare check after a concerned citizen saw a man who appeared to be unresponsive in the car.
While conducting the check, police said that they discovered the man - whose name has not been released - who was the subject of the alert was in possession of drugs, paraphernalia, and cash.
In total, 231 baggies of heroin, seven grams of crack cocaine, various paraphernalia, and an undisclosed amount of cash that was in $2, $10, $20, and $50 bills.
The man was arrested without incident and is now facing drug and possession charges. No court date has been announced by police.
